Terms of use
Last updated: 12 Oct 2026These terms apply to anyone who uses the Wadini rider app, driver app, partner portal, business space or website. By creating an account, you accept them.
1. The service
Wadini connects riders with verified independent drivers in the cities where the service is open (N'Djamena, Moundou, Abéché, Sarh). SOCIETE RIMA TECH SARL runs the platform; it does not carry out the rides itself.
The available ride types (for example Sawa, Taxi, Course X, Luxe), their prices and their service areas are shown in the app before every booking.
2. Your account
You must be at least 18 to create a rider account, and give a phone number that we verify with a code sent by SMS.
You are responsible for your account: keep your password secret and don't share it. Tell us right away if you think someone else is using it. An account is personal; one person may not hold several.
3. Booking a ride
You set your pickup and destination (a pin on the map, an address or a voice note), then choose a ride type. The price shown is calculated from the planned route and lists every fee.
The price only changes if the trip changes at your request, for example if you add a stop or change the destination; the app then shows the new price before you confirm.
4. Prices and service fees
A ride's price is made of a base fare, an amount per distance and per minute, with a minimum fare, plus the service fees of each ride type. All amounts are in CFA francs (XAF).
Wadini takes no percentage commission on the fare: its income is only the service fees shown. The driver keeps the rest of the price.
5. Payment
Rides are paid in cash to the driver at drop-off. Pay the amount shown in the app; you get a detailed receipt in your history. Moov Money and Airtel Money payments will be offered as soon as they are available in the app.
You can leave a tip after the ride; it goes entirely to the driver.
6. Cancellations and waiting
You can cancel a ride in the app. If you cancel after a driver has set off, or you are not at the pickup point, a cancellation fee may apply; its amount depends on the ride type and is shown in the app.
A driver may cancel a ride if there is a problem. You are then not charged and can book a new ride.
7. Conduct and safety
Riders and drivers owe each other respect. In particular, violence, threats, harassment, any discrimination, carrying illegal or dangerous items, and damaging the vehicle are forbidden.
During the ride you can share your trip live with family, call the driver without showing your number and use the SOS button. In danger, also call the emergency services (police: 17).
8. Lost items and reports
If you left something behind or had a problem (price, behaviour, safety, vehicle condition), open the trip in your history and use Help. Our team handles every report and answers you in the app.
9. Ratings
After each ride, rider and driver can rate each other and leave a comment. Ratings keep the service good; a very low average may lead to a review of the account.
10. Suspension and closure
We may suspend or close an account for breaking these terms, fraud, dangerous behaviour or repeated reports. Except in an emergency, we tell you why and you can answer us through Help.
You can close your account at any time from the app's settings.
11. Liability
Wadini does its best to keep the service running, but cannot guarantee it will never be interrupted. SOCIETE RIMA TECH SARL's liability is limited to its role as an intermediary; it is not liable for damage caused by a third party, or in case of force majeure.
Every driver must hold valid insurance that names them as the driver of the vehicle used.
12. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms as the service or the law evolves. Important changes are announced in the app before they take effect. Using Wadini after that date means you accept them.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Chadian law. If you disagree with us, contact us first (+235 64 29 13 00): we look for an amicable solution. Failing that, the courts of N'Djamena have jurisdiction.
