Safety & community guidelines

Last updated: 21 Oct 2026

Wadini runs on trust between riders and drivers. These rules apply to everyone; breaking them can lead to the account being suspended.

1. Respect for everyone

Treat everyone politely. Violence, threats, insults, harassment (including sexual harassment) and any discrimination based on origin, ethnicity, religion, sex, disability or age are forbidden. A driver may not refuse a rider on these grounds.

2. Before you get in

Check that the plate, the vehicle model and the driver's photo match the ones in the app. If they don't, don't get in and report it. Never get into a vehicle claiming to be a Wadini without a ride booked in the app.

3. During the ride

  • Share your trip live with someone you trust from the app.
  • Call the driver through the app: your number stays hidden.
  • Fasten your seatbelt in a car; wear a helmet on a moto.
  • The driver follows the route and the highway code; you can ask them to slow down.

4. Motos (clando)

Driver and rider both wear a helmet. One rider per moto, no children under 12. Hold on and keep your feet on the footrests.

5. Alcohol, drugs and forbidden items

A driver never drives under the influence of alcohol or drugs: zero tolerance. Weapons, illegal goods and dangerous materials may not be carried.

6. Minors

Children under 18 travel with an adult account holder. A driver may refuse an unaccompanied minor.

7. If something goes wrong

In danger, use the SOS button in the app and call emergency services (police: 17, fire brigade: 18). For anything else, open the ride in your history and choose Help: our team handles every report, safety reports first.

8. Consequences

Depending on how serious it is, a breach can lead to a warning, the account being suspended or closed, and a report to the authorities where the law requires it.
